CBS is just firmer after the New York Post said the company is playing hard-ball with streaming services, believing streaming services needs CBS more than CBS needs streaming services.

In the latest proof of that, DirecTV said it will launch its streaming service on Nov 30 without CBS, although talks with CBS are ongoing. That was the same for Hulu and Sling earlier.

The story suggested CBS is looking for around $3 per subscriber per month. CBS is the only broadcaster with a standalone paid app, the story said.
