American depository receipts of Asian stocks were trading 0.03% higher at 145.90 on the Bank of New York Mellon Asia ADR Index on Monday.
In North Asia, the gainers were led by commercial real estate developer China Techfaith Wireless Communication (CNTF), and job portal Zhaopin LTD (ZPIN), which rose 4.7% and 3.8% respectively. They were followed by solar equipment maker SPI Energy (SPI), up 3.3%, and casino and resort operator Melco Crown Entertainment (MPEL), up 3.2%.
The decliners in North Asia were led by online retailer LightInTheBox (LITB), and semiconductor company Semiconductor Manufacturing International (SMI), which fell 3%, and 2.8% respectively. They were followed by ZTO Express (ZTO), an express delivery company in China, down 2.6%, and Korean steel company POSCO (PKX), lower 2.5%.
In South Asia, the gainers were led by IT services firm SIFY Technologies (SIFY), and Indonesian telecommunications company Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK), which were up 2.6% and 1.2% respectively. They were followed by Indian automaker Tata Motors TTM, up 1%, and ICICI Bank (IBN), up 0.7%.
